New AVE Hotel Card Readers

The new hotel card readers for both internal and external room have become AVEbus devices. A big news for AVE's stand-alone hotel management system: thanks to the AVEbus protocol, it is now possible to create a system with free cabling, eliminating the need for the traditional "in/out" wiring.

The AVEbus system is extremely user-friendly and capable of achieving high-level results. The new AVE hotel card readers, equipped with "distributed logic intelligence", offer flexible management of inputs and outputs, adapting to the varying needs of the installations in which they are deployed. Additionally, the integration of the card readers with the AVEbus protocol allows for the management of commands and scenarios based on pre-set conditions during the system's configuration phase.

To ensure maximum security in access management, an optional supervisory web server is available, which is always active and supports the main readers with additional control tools. This system verifies the validity of the cards presented to the readers and decides whether to grant or deny access, also managing authorized loads. Special attention has also been paid to the security of the structure: with the implementation of the AF927 anti-intrusion system, total control can be maintained during closure periods, thus avoiding unpleasant surprises upon reopening.

Furthermore, the system's functionalities can be easily viewed and managed through the Wi-Fi touch screen monitors of AVE’s 2-wire and IP video intercom systems. These monitors also allow for responding to video intercoms both locally and remotely via a dedicated app.

Management of the system by the hotelier has also an important innovation. Thanks to the web pages generated by the supervisory web server, it’s now possible to monitor the system status, access various functionalities, and control the anti-intrusion system from a computer via a web page, or directly from a mobile device using the free AVE Cloud app.

The new hotel card readers are available in all the colors of the S44 series and are compatible with all AVE S44 front plates, both traditional and Ave Touch.
